- Forbrukerkjøpsloven (Consumer Purchases Act, Lov 2002-06-21 nr 34) — governs the sale of goods to consumers, including product conformity and warranty rights.
- Angrerettloven (Cancellation Act, Lov 2014-06-20 nr 27) — provides consumers with a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance and off-premises contracts without giving a reason.
- Ehandelsloven (E-Commerce Act) — sets out requirements for electronic commerce, including pre-contractual information and accessibility of terms.
- Personopplysningsloven (Personal Data Act) — implements the GDPR in Norway; the Norwegian Data Protection Authority is Datatilsynet.
2.2 Consumer Rights in Norway
Norwegian consumers are entitled to the full range of rights under EU/EEA consumer protection law, including the right of withdrawal as specified in our Return Policy. In accordance with Angrerettloven § 17, if the seller has not provided the standard withdrawal form, the withdrawal period is extended to 12 months from the day following the expiry of the original 14-day period.
